The National Arboretum at Westonbirt is a short drive away from Tudor Caravan Park, about 3 miles from Tetbury.
The historic, Victorian picturesque landscape and internationally important tree and shrub collection of Westonbirt Arboretum is a wonderful world of trees and shrubs.

There are over 18,000 specimens from all over the world, producing 600 acres of beautifully landscaped countryside. This makes Westonbirt one of the finest tree collections in the world today with 17 miles of accessible paths and five national collections.

Open all year round, it is also the combination of wild flowers, fungi, birds and animals as well as the trees themselves that make Westonbirt such a special place to so many people. This rich diversity of plant and animal life makes Westonbirt truly a place to visit at every season of the year.

Westonbirt Arboretum consists of three main areas. The Old Arboretum (a dog free area) is a carefully designed landscape dating from the 1850s offering beautiful vistas, stately avenues and trees from around the world.
Silk Wood is an ancient, semi-natural woodland which has exotic plantings throughout its landscape, whilst the Grade I registered

Downs hosts species-rich grassland and is a great picnicking location. There is something for the whole family - as well as all the self-guided trails there are different play zones hidden in amongst the trees of the Old Arboretum and Silk Wood designed with children aged 5-11 years in mind.

Annual events such as Treefest & Enchanted Christmas plus concerts, music and more activities celebrating trees and nature make Westonbirt a place to visit time and again.

Enchanted Christmas is a spectacle running from the end of November and throughout December - it is an evening illuminated trail running throughout the Old Arboretum, highlighting the beauty of Westonbirt's trees in winter.

The highlight of the year at Westonbirt is Autumn when the vibrant leaf colours from the thousands of trees make a true kaleidoscope of natural colour.

Tudor Caravan Park is one of the closest caravan & camping sites to Westonbirt Arboretum - about 20 minutes by car.
