Open All Year
Tudor Caravan Park: Open All Year

We are Open All Year.

Autumn & Winter can be a fabulous time to visit us - less crowds, more space and cheaper prices.

The adjacent Tudor Arms pub & restaurant is also open all year for some winter warmth, lovely food and a cosy fire-side pint.

WWT's Slimbridge Wetlands Centre at the bottom of the road is also open every day except Christmas Day. Winter is the best time to spot lots of rare & interesting over-wintering birds.

Road access is usually fine also as the road is gritted down to Slimbridge Wetlands Centre.

The Meadow
Tudor Caravan Park: The Meadow

The Meadow has electric hook-ups on hard-standings and is open all year round. Suitable for all types of tourers and larger pitches big enough for RVs.

We keep a large open area in the centre of the meadow so it feels spacious and there is plenty of room for children to play games.

The site has hedging around most of the perimeter with the Gloucester-Sharpness canal running along one side where you may be lucky enough to see a paddle-steamer or the occasional tall ship passing.

The Meadow backs onto the canal and has lovely views over the fields towards the Cotswold Hills. Our main toilet & shower block is centrally located here with easy access.

The Old Orchard
Tudor Caravan Park: The Meadow

The Old Orchard area is an Adults Only area all year round. This is all hardstandings with electric hook-ups suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper-vans, and RVs.

This area is quieter and more secluded as well as being close to the old amenities block and The Tudor Arms.

It is shielded by hedges and has a selection of both old and new apple and plum trees - many of which are local heritage varieties.

The Orchard facilities have a few steps up into them so not suitable for disabled access, but it's not far to our main facilities block in the Meadow.

Tents & Camping
Tudor Caravan Park: The Meadow

Despite our name, Tudor Caravan Park is ideal for camping in tents. The site is level and has lots of open space on well kept grass. We take great care of our lawns and pick up all grass-clippings to minimise transfer into your tent.

The site is well-equipped for camping with two shower & toilet blocks including our modern, 4-star facility with underfloor-heating which includes a laundry and baby-changing.

Electric hook-ups (16 amp) are also available for tents if required. There are two washing-up areas and free use of the site freezer.

Ask about the new Camping Field which has really big, extra-large grass pitches with 16A electric hookups.
