Cotswolds Cycling
Tudor Caravan Park is on National Cycle Route 41 and close to the proposed Route 45. We are also on the new 180-mile 7-day Cotswolds Circular Cycling Route which covers approximately 30 miles each day, allowing you to experience pretty towns and villages and stunning scenery.
National Cycle Route 41 & 45
Route #41 - Avonmouth: The whole area is flat and good cycling country with quiet roads. The National Cycle Route #41 passes by Tudor Caravan Park on it's way to the Slimbridge Wetlands & Wildfowl Trust, before continuing along the canal towpath towards Gloucester. In the other direction it heads to Berkeley Castle & beyond.
Route #45 - Heritage Trail: There is a proposal to link a new section of Cycle Route #45 to Route #41 at Saul, just north of Tudor Caravan Park. This is fascinating ride as the Stroudwater Canal is being regenerated.
Cotswolds Circular Cycling Route
This 180-mile 7-day Cotswolds Circular Cycling route covers approximately 30 miles each day, allowing you to experience pretty towns and villages and stunning scenery.
Tudor Caravan Park is a good stop on the main route and a good place to explore the Berkeley Circular Route - which is a much shorter, more manageable route.
The variety of terrains ranges from the gentler slopes of the Severn Vale, to the sharper escarpments of the Cotswold Hills. The route takes you along country lanes, canal sides and some traffic-free routes.

Cycling from Tudor Caravan Park
The road outside Tudor Caravan Park main entrance is Kingston Road and forms part of National Cycle Route #41. Turn left, over the canal and then right along the towpath to head towards Gloucester. Turn right to head towards Berkeley.
To find the Berkeley Circular Route, turn right onto Kingston Road, cycle for approximately 300 metres to the junction with Lightenbrook Lane to join the route.
