The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre at Slimbridge is an easy 5 minute walk from the park.
Founded in 1946 by the artist and naturalist Sir Peter Scott (1909 - 1989), the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust is the largest international wetland conservation charity in the UK.
Open all year round, the centre offers the perfect place to get close to nature, last year alone over 20,000 birds dropped into the site.
